 A Parents Review of New kid songs:The Laurie Berkner BandKid songs are a great way to make a fun, yet meaningful connection with your children. Kids love music. Try singing some kid songs, and likely most little kids will start singing with you. Especially, if you start the ball rolling with some kid songs they know and love. Not many kids are resistant to interactive favorites like "Old MacDonald Had A Farm", type of kid songs. Older kids have their tastes, too. Today there are so many kid songs created by so many talented artists, it's hard to really to choose a favorite. Music is a wonderful way to help children learn and interact with one another and it is a wonderful way to have some great fun. Kid songs vary by style and artist so your little one has a great number of options for his musical tastes. One of the hottest bands with great kid songs is the Laurie Berkner Band. This band is loved by kids across the United States. Laurie Berkner works in collaboration with her husband and friends to write and produce a lot of kid songs for children to enjoy. Truth is these kid songs are appealing to children and adults alike and the wide variety of musical styles the band uses are wonderful. This band offers a diverse array of musical styles that are sure to please all tastes. Children have a unique opportunity to be introduced to a number of different types of music. One example is one of my daughter’s favorite kid songs called “I Know a Chicken” that helps children learn about animals and animal sounds.It's written in the classic blues style. It introduces them to the rhythmic blues tempo found in music from that genre. The song reminds me of many classic Blues Bands. The Laurie Berkner Band also offers kid songs that have an island appeal. The song “Under a Shady Tree” has a wonderful Reggae beat that is quickly recognized by any Bob Marley fan. This helps children gain a feeling for diverse types of music and it helps them understand that a place can be captured by a tune. Of course,there are a lot of other bands that offer great kid songs. My kids really seem to enjoy the Laurie Berkner Band. The popular kid’s channel, Noggin features this band in a number of shows and specials. These shows and specials are on the top of our household’s family viewing list. My children look forward to seeing what the Laurie Berkner Band will do next.I'm interested to because their kid songs are really entertaining and educational. When it comes to kid songs,that's a winning combination. |
